Of Counsel
Mr. Forrest is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. He is a member of the Indiana and Kentucky bars, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Indiana and the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the 6th and 7th Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal. He is a member of numerous legal associations, including the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA now the American Association for Justice). He was awarded the “Trial Lawyer of the Year” by ITLA in 2003.
At Schad and Schad, Mr. Forrest acts Of Counsel on issues related to medical practice. He understands that a successful medical malpractice lawyer must not only be expert in medical malpractice law, but must also have the knowledge and experience needed to properly analyze difficult medical issues. He thoroughly evaluates every medical malpractice claim to determine that a meritorious case exists and then pursues the most effective legal means to obtain compensation for his clients' injuries.
In addition to welcoming individuals as new clients, Mr. Forrest devotes a significant part of his practice to assisting other attorneys with personal injury issues outside their areas of expertise, either as co-counsel or on a referral basis.
