On January 26, 2011, the Indiana Court of Appeals affirmed a $1.56 million jury verdict in the case of Jeremy Money and Kerri Money v. Christiani Excavating.
Matt Schad argued the case to a Clark County jury in January 2010 with the support of the firm’s trial team. After six days of evidence the jury awarded Jeremy $1.34 million dollars and Kerri $228,917.00. After the verdict, the Defendant appealed to the Indiana Court of Appeals.
The three judge panel on the Court of Appeals unanimously agreed that the Clark County trial judge handled the case fairly and followed the law.
