$23 Million Jury Verdict
On September 16, 2010, a Floyd County jury returned a verdict of $23.5 million dollars in a child pesticide poisoning case. Matt Schad was co-counsel on the case. The lead counsel, Roger L. Pardieck from The Pardieck Law Firm, pursued this case for 15 years on behalf of the children and their parents. We were honored to work with one of the nation’s top trial lawyers, pursuing justice for the family and safety for the community.

Why It's So Hard to Get Cases Wrapped up in December
Posted on: Thursday, December 30, 2010

Schad & Schad is a premier southern Indiana law firm devoted to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and social security claims. We handle tough, complex cases. Our verdicts and settlements include vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, landowner liability, defective products, medical negligence, construction injuries, toxic exposure cases and Social Security disability cases of every shape and form.

We believe that fighting the good fight can change things not only for the injured, but for the community we live in. We don't back down. When we take a case to trial, it sends a message to those whose carelessness wrecks the lives of innocent victims: It tells them not to drive recklessly in our community. It tells them not to sell dangerous products here. It tells them not to break the safety rules that endanger children, or the weak, or the poor.

Schad & Schad is a family firm. Larry Schad and Matt Schad grew up in southern Indiana. We live here. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients who live here, in helping to ensure justice for the injured who live here, and in contributing to our local legal community through leadership and education.
